Last week I tried to format 1 partition of my hard drive to HSF+ which has been storing 4 NTFS partitions. I want to store my MAC data to this partition. But when I was trying to format using disk utility, an error occur and my hard drive had gone away from my system. I can see it any more from my system.
After that I tried to reboot, but the computer went to deep sleep after reboot, even I can not see the bios startup screen. I must plug out my hard drive and my computer start up normally.

I don't know what happened with my hard drive. Does anyone have any ideas about it?
I try to use a hdd-box to connect my hard drive through USB port, but It still not appeared.

Thank you all.

Was the hdd formatted as GPT before any NTFS data was installed?

If you boot off a Linux LiveCD does GParted see the drive? If so, does it see any partitions?
