Can Not See Multibeast Flash Drive in OS X

After following the 10.8 install guide on this site I downloaded OS X on a drive in my PC. Currently I can only boot from the drive when I have my Unibeast flash drive plugged in. The problem is after I restart my computer and boot into OS X my USB is not recognized. Another problem is I can only boot in safe mode. If I do a regular start up it gets stuck on "NTFS Volume OS Version 3.1". Therefore I cannot install any drivers because I can't connect to the internet and Multibeast is on that flash drive. If any one can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Where did you get Mountain lion? Did you use the method in 10.8 Install?
