I'm dualbooting Windows 10 and macOS Sierra. I currently have a Pascal card, but am getting tired of waiting for pascal support. Is it possible to buy a Maxwell card (Geforce 740) and install it while the Pascal is already installed? Will there be any issues with running macOS?

This is interesting question. I am not sure, but will be purchasing a 1080 this afternoon that could sit nicely with the 770 I already ahve in my hack.

Yes this is technically possible. Many have done this - it was talked about on the big nvidia 1080/1070 thread in the graphics section a couple of months ago.

K. my 740 card is coming soon. i'll report back with my results!

You are manual switching it each time or using a box?
Personally for me, I have two inputs on my monitor so I can switch between 1080 and 740.

btw I installed it guys. working fine

Yeah I just put my in last night. I can boot into OSX no problem. I am only getting 3mb of video ram and its only loading at 1080p but I am in the system. Hopefully this helps anyone that is interested and scared.
