can ASUS GTX690-4GD5 be compatible with hackintosh

I have seen people who have gotten the 690 to work, but SLI does not work under OSX.

It will only function as two separate video cards. You WILL NOT get the improvement in FPS that you would get IF SLI worked.

Personally, unless you plan on playing a LOT of games under windows, I would save $600 or so and just get a good 670. They're $100 cheaper or so in the US and an overclocked model is just as fast as a 680.

The Zotac Amp! 670 is the fastest, but a bit noisy. The ASUS DirectCU II 670 TOP, is the best over all.

If you really have your heart set on a SLI setup. I would recommend getting two 680s. That way you can remove one if you are having problems getting things to work.
