Ive played around with computers a bit, but this will be my first full build. Doing some more research I think this is the best config for a mini itx:

* Gigabyte GA Z77N WIFI motherboard

* Intel Core I7 3770k processor

* Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB (2x8GB) low profile

* EVGA GeForce GT 640 2048MB

* 1x Samsung 500gb 2.5" HD (Ill use 2x 1Tb external backup drives)

* Corsair Builder Series CX V2 430-Watt 80 power supply or similar

Ill be running OSX as a hackintosh as primary, Linux mint and Win 7 (occasionally).

Will this fit into these cases, or could anyone recommend a mini itx case:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IN-WIN-B...nts&hash=item4ac3116052&_uhb=1#ht_5044wt_1141

More importantly, will this be hackintoshable? Someone posted these specs as being able to install OSX. I just want to confirm though.

Yes, it will be hackintoshable. Very easily, as those components are right off the CustoMac Buyers Guide recommended hardware list.

Any of those cases should work. Remember, the smaller the case, the harder it is to work inside, and the more important it is to route your cables out of the way of airflow. A good case that I'm partial to is the Coolermaster Elite 120 Advanced (http://www.coolermaster.com/category.php?category_id=3561). It's well-built, attractive, and has plenty of room to work in.

OK, so the Gigabyte GA Z77N WIFI is a mini itx with DDR3 RAM slots.

Choosing a compatible case is the hard part. I am leaning toward this case. Will it fit?:

Second option would be this one:

Third would be this one:

It has a lot of wasted space though (eg. 3.5" HDs which I wont use)

Sorry about the questions, Ive never gone this deep into computers before.

Just to add. I am building one now based from these specs:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/422-building-customac-buyer-s-guide-may-2014.html#mini

Here are the changes with my rig:
Case : InWin BQ660 (with 80w PSU)
CPU : i3 4350 Haswell
RAM : 1x 8gb Ballistix
no HDD
no WiFi Card

Basically, this board is cramped and I mean, you can only fit the board.
The 80w PSU restricts you on using only i3 CPUs.
