Call of Duty 4 Black Textures Bug

Hi community!

I've been playing the Mac port of CoD4 (v1.7) lately, which runs great!
However I've noticed one graphical bug, namely that some textures/models appear totally black. I'm running a HD5770 (MSI Hawk) with ATI_Init Vervet from MultiBeast.
Is it due to the game or my setup?

same here. radeon 5770 as well.
