Hi,

I've installed OS X Mavericks using Unibeast-created USB drive.
Then I've installed required drivers using Multibeast.
After that I had problems with app store - I fixed it with

<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>

<string>Yes</string>

then used "Chameleon Wizard.app" to generate valid serial number.

I've setup OS X Server 3.0.1, and got most of it working (except for Caching Server):

Unable to start service.
There was an error communicating with the remote content server.

And it's log was saying:

AssetCache[22344]: Request for registration from https://lcdn-registr...m/lcdn/register failed: HTTP response 400, body "INVALID_DEVICE"

I've read some document about thos error saying I should reset NVRAM, which is something I probably can't do on a hackintosh?

Any idea on how to get it working?

Chimera was the problem. Reinstalled bootloader (used Chameleon Wizard to install newest version of chameleon) and it started working right away.

Is this fix still working for you? Cannot seem to get it up and running on my hack. Have it going on MacBook Pro but had to tweak it so it didn't have to be dependant on a wired connection. Much prefer to have it on the desktop. I have a feeling something similar to the iMessage fix might work.

but so far no luck:banghead:

Good news, I was able to get it to work with Chimera. I followed the instructions in the iMessage post about using Chameleon Wizard to get valid values in the the smbios.plist file. I also checked the serial # with Apples website to make sure it was valid. I then used the 1.1.2 version of FileNVRAM. The 1.1.3 version did not work for me.

Thanks for your post. Using Chameleon Wizard 4.3.2 to get valid values for the smbio.plist file and installing FileNVRAM from Chameleon Wizard worked for me. I'm not sure what version of FileNVRAm Chameleon Wizard installs, but it works.

How did you install the NVRam? I went to the part of the program where it's listed, checked the box and hit apply but on reboot it didn't fix it.
Did you have to actually Install Chameleon again?

I don't want to screw up my box.
