Buying Help (GA-H77-DS3H). Need an easier Path

Hello Hackintoshies,

I went to buy the parts for my first in life build "Hackintosh" computer today, I got to see that they were not selling GA-Z77-DS3H

BUT they had ​

GA-H77-DS3H

for sale, and it was cheaper than Z series board. I wanted to ask if this one is a good motherboard to go for?

I am doing this for first time so I want those parts that will make my work easier in installing the Mac OS X or Mountain Lion, please help so I can make my move. Thank you

Also I have seen when you restart your PC without having UniBeast plugged it shows tonymac logo and stuff, is there a way we can remove that? I want a computer to start like a mac starts without showing Gigabyte or any other logo just a plain Mac opening, is it possible

The H77 will be fine although its no good for overclocking (need Z77 for that).

As to booting, you will always have a bios boot screen (you need this in case you ever have to go into the bios settings), but you can get rid of the chimera boot screen by utilising the quiet boot option
