Hi Team,
I would like to build a cheap hackintosh with C2Duo cpu (since i found cheap online and compatible).
I am planning to build with below config , pls advise below components are compatible with High Seira / Mojave (suggest with version run best)

CPU : Intel E8500 - 3.16 GHZ
Motherboard : Gigabyte G41M Combo Socket LGA 775
GPU : GEForce 8400 GS 1 GB
RAM : 4 GB / 8 GB DDR 3 Hynix
HDD : 2.5 Inch Seagate SATA (Laptop HDD)

Pls help with below questions.
Is all components are compatible? If yes with which version of Hackintosh run best or suites? is Mojave or Sierra run on this?
Is Onboard graphics and sound of motherboard work with hackintosh so that i can avoid buying a GPU?

See if you can find an HP 8200 SFF with an i5 CPU. For graphics get a GT 710 and you'll be able to run Mojave. The 8400 GS will not work with Mojave. Core 2 Duo systems are now around 10 years old and you won't get much useful life out of them at this point in time.
