buying Advice Needed

I have a white macbook, non unibody 2008. I would like to upgrade the RAM and wanted to know if I could buy this 8GB

1GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM is currently what is being used currently

Looking for the lowest price on the most memory from anywhere

** I spoke to Apple, they said it has to be DDR2 667 MHZ and max 4GB.. someone help with finding the cheapest

You logicboard only supports 4GB max. 8GB will not work. 4GB should not cost you more than $ 40. Ebay has lots of RAM. Apple's recommendations on the RAM type is correct for your logicboard. Maximum means 2 x 2GB.
