Buyer's guide: Laptop

Hi there,

I would love to have a laptop section on the buyer's guide.
I know it will probably not be 100% compatible at first install but at least we would have recommendation on laptops at 90% compatible.
The other BIG advantage is that it will focalize buyers to get the same laptops, so we would have a community with KEXT and other items, to make it fully compatible at the end.
The laptop section would not require monthly updates - 6 months is fine no?

I third this proposal! It would be even more useful if such laptop suggestions could link directly to a "Golden Build" type thread on that particular model/range. Right now I am considering the best way to replace my now defunct MacBook Pro as I want something that is user upgradeable ( SSDs and RAM ) which the current range of Apple products refuses to address and probably never will again in the future.
