hi
i have problem
when update whatevergreen from 1.2.2 to 1.2.7 stuck in apple logo in boot screen
i used this Guide for patching hd 520 ::: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen.256490/
and using this patch for my dsdt -> {
Rename _DSM methods to XDSM
Fix _WAK Arg0 v2
HPET Fix
SMBUS Fix
IRQ Fix
RTC Fix
OS Check Fix (Windows 8)
Fix Mutex with non-zero SyncLevel
Add IMEI
Rename GFX0 to IGPU
Fix _WAK IAOE
Rename B0D3 to HDAU
Fix ADBG Error
Fix PARSEOP_ZERO Error
brightness fix
Skylake LPC
}
at the and i using mac os 10.14.3 and attach my efi and screen shot from verbose mode

my system :::
acer aspire E5-575g-73wp
i7 6500u
intel hd 520

i updated my config.plist and got error(busy timeout : IGPU) again

i would get rid of that config.plist and use one as is from the guide, yours has so much junk in there, difficult to sort through

then re patch only what you need in your DSDT

hi I found a solution

already I used IntelBacklight.kext and brightness fix(DSDT) method for enable brightness and new version of whatevergreen had problem with this method after change method to SSDT-PNLF and AppleBacklightFixup.kext problem solved and macOS was booted properly :thumbup:
 
Hi, I have the same problem after applying IntelBacklight.kext, how you did the fix?
