As I would really like to have the thunderbolt ports. I noticed it was previously said that this motherboards wifi card won't work for Mac OS, I am wondering if there is any way around this.!

@lucasrr123
Try to search, and look for builds of others. If you want thunderbolt, you can search on this: GA-Z87X-UD5-TH OR GA-Z87X-UD7-TH , for example

Hey guys, new to this forum and Hackintosh in general, am currently looking to build my first. The goal is to have a desktop on par with the latest mac pros. (and run the latest mac OS)

I put together:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/23N7GOARO9JCY (with 2x videocard/monitor). Will this work? Easy to install? Any suggestions? Anything to look out for? (I haven't put together a desktop in 5 years or so, and never a "mac".) If this is the wrong thread for questions like this, kindly point me in the right direction :D

Any help would be appreciated, would be nice if the final price is somewhere around ~2500 euros.

I'd like to build a new hackintosh that I can dualboot into windows and mine litecoin/bitecoin. I could not see that you recomended any ATI graphics cards, should I give up on this?

You'll need to post this :?: in the buying advice section. This is for Buyer's Guide comments only.

Does anybody know if GA-H87-HD3 motherboard is ok for CustoMac? The guide says it is ok to use GA-H87-DH3 and GA-H87M-HD3. Unfortunately, i was not planning to build a CustoMac at the time i've purchased my hardware... And i know that in some Mac Mini Intel HD Graphics is used, so if i have an i5-4430, may i try to use the Intel HD Graphics video? I only need a CustoMac to work with Logic.

*Oh, sorry, i didn't see the previous comment. I Should ask in the Advice section.

Z87M-D3H Success. Not posting a build as there are several others and I have nothing new to contribute.

One thing I SHOULD add, though, is that if you use Logitech mice, you may be disappointed to find that various models are not fully supported on OSX. I like my mice and don't want to buy new ones, but usage in OSX is frustrating when buttons don't work and can't even be reprogrammed.

If you Google the problem, a solution might just appear out of thin air: http://www.usboverdrive.com/USBOverdrive/News.html

Have looked at those. Other Mac users have reported that on the Logitech M560, you can map some buttons but not all. Specifically Forward and the Middle Click button cannot be mapped.. (yes middle click is its own button on this mouse, not a function of the scroll wheel which no longer acts as a button). They don't send proper codes.
