Build for editing 4K video

Guys , can you tell me if the CustoMac Pro ( https://www.tonymacx86.com/buyersguide/march/2018/ ) with i7-7700K cpu and Geforce GTX 1070 SC Graphics card would be suitable for editing 4K video ??? Or would I better waiting for a CustoMac build with the new 8th generation CPU's ??

Yes, a 7700K has the ability to work with 4K quite well. The graphics card you choose is critically important. What is your primary editing software ? Also the more Vram the gfx card has the better when working with High res. video on a couple of 4K monitors.

Many people are already using 8th Gen. Coffee Lake systems. If you need the two extra cores and threads you can get that but it is not mandatory. An overclocked 7700K is a quantum leap forward in performance from your old i7-780.
