Hi All,

My friend donate an old pc to me :

Mobo + CPu : H61M-A/USB3 i5 3470
Ram : 8GB
Storage: 1Tb

I wanted to use it for sketch design, in order to run the application I need El Capitan OS X (10.11) or higher, but is safer to make it in Sierra if possible, so my question is if I buy a GPU, upgrade ram and add a SSD will I be able to run Sierra smoothly on this build?

GPU: Palit Gtx1050 Stormx 2gb
Ram: Crucial - 12800/1600mhz 16gb (2x8gb)
Storage SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250Gb

The user had a 6Gb Ram and able to run sierraOS... seems like my 16Gb is overkill.

Thank trs96! I try PM him and ask for more information

Edited: (Opps! Can't PM maybe I'm too new)

Yes, ethernet will work for internet access then no wifi card needed.

Thanks trs96!

I think I will just go ahead and buy the gpu and storage, really hope I can get it to work!
