I've assembled it instead of the default intel card
Fail, no kext fixes a hardware problem
M.2 Broadcom does not work in Gigabyte M.2 Intel/CNVi
Choices:
1. PCIe/M.2 KeyA+E adapter + USB
2. Other motherboard M.2/M.2 KeyM to M.2 KeyA+E adapter

Got it, tnx!
I've ordered a M.2/PCIe adapter, what do you mean by "+ USB?" a wifi usb dongle?
Also, after i'll connect the broadcom via the adapter should I do any further installations or the kext i have now should do it?

Hey guys, I have been trying to get my bluetooth working for a while now on my Optiplex 7010, but still am not having any luck. Somebody told me that if I posted my IOREG here then someone could verify that the USB header connected to the m.2 adapter for my DW1830, is actually connected and detected. Shouldn't be a hardware problem because bluetooth works fine in Windows 10. Also, I used this card in a previous high sierra build and it was 100% working OOB on a latitude e7450. Don't know what the deal is now though...

BT requires USB. PCIe does not support USB. The adapter must have a USB connector and USB cable to connect to the Motherboard/USB 2.0 internal connector.

Got the BT part with the usb. tnx
Everything else is running so well i got to get this one fixed too :)
The adapter I got is the most basic one (and cheap..) so no usb, i'll try it for the wifi, if it works maybe ill get the +usb one for the BT.
Thanks for the help!

Clarification of Intel's new M.2 CNVi WiFi/BT Standard.

Update 1: Thanks to KevinAgnes we can confirm that the M.2 Key A+E to Key M + USB Adaptors work as advertised. See Post #358 in this thread for his post on using one successfully on a Gigabyte H370N-WiFi ITX Motherboard.

and I can confirm that the adapter in the image works perfectly ... there is no need for any engineering to make it work ... it cost 32 euros ...

Nice to hear that! :) I'm using Mojave. No solution for sleep/wake yet (in HS I had no problem).
Actually in HS everything worked like a charm. EFI attached ;)
Thanks for sharing, new job so I’ve been very busy. Mine was also perfect on 10.12.6
Now on Mojave I have to make sure I do t let sleep cause it will shut down and do weird restarts haha
Are you planning on using dedicated graphics down the road?
