I have Clover installed Legacy on an older system and it boots Sierra fine. Sierra and Clover are installed on 1 SSD and Windows XP is installed on a separate SSD.

In the Clover boot menu it sees the XP drive as well as the Volume name and I have the option to boot from it but it just goes to a blinking cursor when I select it. If I replace the drive with XP installed with a drive containing Windows 7 (installed Legacy), Clover will boot to that just fine.

Windows XP will boot fine if I select its drive as the boot drive in the BIOS.

I have NTFS.efi in drivers64.

I tried googling but couldn't find anything relevant.

My scan settings I've tried Auto and Custom and have Tool and Legacy. I wonder if it has something to do with XP being 32 bit. IDK

Any ideas?

Thanks

Just a workaround !
1. Install bootloader of Windows7 on Xp partition.
2. Create a booting item for XP with EasyBCD on bcd in c:\boot folder
3. Use Cover to bootchain Windows

On c:\ you should have boot folder and bootmgr from windows7 and all other stuff from Xp (NTloader ...)

It works , but you will see the text menu from windows7 when you boot from Clover.

To get window7 bootloader use

Bootsect /nt60 c:

To revert back to windows XP
Bootsect /nt55 c:

Cheers
