Hi, I´m wondering if any one can help me please.
I had a fully working snow leopard system with 3 HDD and 1 DVD rom, I formated the home drive and made a fresh install of lion on it using Unibeast USB method, everything went smooth and worked fine. After finishing my installation and fine tuning everything, shut down the computer and plugged back the other 2 HDDs, tried to reboot but the computer will halt after "verifying DMI pool data" in a black screen with a / symbol at the upper left corner. If I unplug the data drives it will boot normally again and I can even plug them in after booting and the OS will mount them normally.

My specs are:
- GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775
- Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9550 2.83GHz 1333MHz 12 MB LGA775 EM64T CPU BX80569Q9550
- Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5D Dominator 4GB 2 X 2GB PC2-8500 1066MHz 240-Pin DDR2 CL5 Dual Channel

Please help me

Thanks !!!!!

What happens if you...

1) Shut down
2) Plug in drives
3) Boot
4) Reboot at system hang

same problem?

can you get to the BIOS to see if the drives are detected?

I have the same exact problem please help! rebooting does not help. the MOMENT you unplug the device it shutsdown and reboots. (my x58 mobo cold reboots)

I also switched AHCI to IDE with no avail. so I switched it back

I couldn't make it work so switched back to Snow. Everything working fine now!
