Hi guys,
i have problem booting from my CCC Backup HDD. It seems to be related to the fact that my Primary HDD is attached to the system, here is the story:
I had a problem updating to Catalina latest Update and screwed up my primary installation. Clover even does not showed it anymore, but i was able to boot my backup in this case without any problems. Now i reinstalled catalina to the primary drive and it works perfectly. But i cant boot my backup anymore (the backup disk was disconnected during installation, it isnt modified in any way since it was working).
Verbose boot shows only "Boot task failed: mount-phase-1". Primary boots perfectly with the same clover installation. If i sum up everything the only conclusion can be that macos dont want to start from the secondary drive as long as the primary drive contains a working installation... but because its an nvme i cant just plug the connector out... i have to disassemble the whole thing
Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem?
Thanx and Bye!
