So I'm an idiot and accidentally updated from 10.14.2 to 10.14.6 without updating Clover or any kexts.
The install seemed fine but now when I try to boot it hangs at: busy timeout, (60s): 'AppleACPICPU' before going to a black screen. (pic attached) The monitor stays on and if I hit a key the screen briefly flashes white.
I found people on another site having the same issue so as suggested, I updated the Lilu, Whatevergreen, AppleALC on my Mojave install USB EFI partition. When I try to boot off USB it only takes me to the installer screen or hangs at the same black screen. I selected USB in the boot menu then selected my Mojave install at the Clover boot screen.
Seems like I need to find a way to access my EFI and update Clover and the kexts? When I try to access my Mojave EFI from Explorer++ in Windows it says "you don't currently have permission to access this folder."
Since I accidentally updated I don't have a recent Time Machine back up so I would rather get my old installation working. Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT: I'm in Mojave not 10.4.6 Tiger, TYPO!
