Hi all!
It's been a long while since I've been here. My Hack has been working trouble free for a long while until the other day.

My Enermax PSU developed a problem and I had to replace it. You think this would be simple. Think again.

Now I'm having two problems when booting.

1) boot0 Error
Not sure why this has happened. I've been reading about this and all I did was replace the PSU.
No drives were altered. Nothing.

I can get past this error by using my UniBeast USB stick but for some reason I can't boot from the stick into the installer.
I can pick my startup disk and it will boot successfully but I have to boot from the USB stick.

I have not been able to successfully solve this error in the terminal either.
I have multiple HDs, all of them clones of my main boot drive and I can boot into any of them but only from the USB stick.
Removing that stick brings me back to the Boot0 error.

And when I do boot into my 2nd HD and try to run the terminal:

Solution 1: Use UniBeast
Pros: Easy- OS X Only
Cons: Requires use of the Terminal and UniBeast drive.

How To Do it:
1. Install Lion Using UniBeast
2. Boot new installation using UniBeast.
3. Run MultiBeast and install as normal
4. Reboot system back into Lion installer.
5. Run Disk Utility and unmount the drive you installed OS Lion on.
6. Launch Terminal and execute the following command:

Code:
dd if=/Volumes/"Unibeast Volume Name"/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2

In my case my UniBeast volume is called "OS X 10.7.4" so my command would be:

dd if=/Volumes/OS\ X\ 10.7.4/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2
7. Exit Terminal
8. Reboot Normally

I get permission denied.

2) Endless boot cycle.
So if I unplug all my HDs leaving only one attached I get an endless boot cycle.
Nothing I do will stop it. Not safe booting or any other prompts that I can think of.
None of my bios settings have changed.

I'm really stumped here.

Just got off the phone with Gigabyte.

What are the chances that the CMOS got corrupted when I changed the PSU?

Easy to check - Short the CMOS Reset jumper or remove the battery for 30 secs.
With the power cable disconnected of course.

Hi. Thanks for replying.
Yes, I know how to do this BUT then I lose all my profile settings.

First off I fixed the Boot0 error on my primary SSD.

I built a new UniBeast USB and got that working somewhat.
I have to add:
GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=0 for it to boot into the installer.
I need to add that everytime I want to boot into it.
Surely that can't be correct? Is there a fix for that?

Now I'm stuck in this endless boot cycle.
No matter what HD I want to use. Even the UniBeast USB.

I have to F12 into the MB boot menu and choose the UniBeast USB.

Then I can choose any HD or SSD and the system will boot.

I can't seem to find anything on any thread to help me get past the boot loop cycle.

Your thoughts and input would be greatly appreciated.
