Hello,

I've been running El Capitan on my desktop system for a solid 6 months now using the integrated graphics but recently purchased a Radeon HD 7970. I can boot into the OS and have full GPU acceleration from the 7970, however in order to boot into the OS I have to leave the BIOS setting for "Primary Graphics Adapter" to the integrated graphics option AS WELL AS have a monitor connected to an integrated graphics port in order to get into the OS. How do I disable the integrated graphics entirely and just boot into the OS with only the 7970? As it is now, attempting to boot into El Capitan with just the 7970 causes an "assertion failed" error for the Intel framebuffer from what appears to be system cache, but using Clover if I boot without cache it has the same issue. I've just not been able to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
