hi guys i - first up i apologise for my lack of understanding -
i've done my best to follow the guides - everything seems to work.
i have the osx working fine when i boot from i-boot...but can seem to get it to boot from the hard drive.
i keep getting...
boot0: gpt
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: error
and thats where it stops.

my system is gigabyte ex58-ud4p
gigabyte nvidia gtx 295 1792 mb
12 gig ram - (i took out all bar 4 from the tutorial)
3 1.5 tb hard drives - (i took out 2 and lef the one in for snow leaopard)

i believe i've followed all the instructions from the tutorials regarding the bios and setting up osx. (i've read them a dozen times - but i'm definately missing something!)

i was wondering if there was something physically i've not connected right?

i apologise if i've posted in the wrong place too - this is my first ever post....

any hint or help would be greatly appreciated as i don't have much hair left to pull out.

thanks guys
take care.

The OS X boot partition must be 1 TB or less.

I receive the same mistake
boot0: gpt
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: error

Mac-Pro:~ Fory360$ diskutil list
/dev/disk0
#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk0
1: EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 999.7 GB disk0s2

The boot partition is 1 TB or less, Then Who is the ploblem?

Thank you for his help

There's some new hard disks (mainly WD Green EARS series) that have that problem, make a search for boot0 and you'll find some topics about it.
