Blurry fonts / antialiasing not working?

and there is a monitor option to set image enhance. Turn it off.

I use an LG TV that has the same LCD panel as my iMac but unfortunately has its own software too.

Thanks for the tip, saifudheen! I'm setting up and Elite 8300 with Dell P2414H monitor and the jagged fonts was nearly a deal-breaker. I've been using a 21" iMac for years and always liked the display. Setting 'image enhance' off on the Dell has the display looking as good. Great find - thanks again...

I don't know if someone will help but I had the same problem, I have LG Ultrawide monitor. Solution was, reset monitor settings from monitor menu.

This works pretty fine on my monitors as well: EIZO.Flecscan.EV2780
It even dramatically enhances the image quality in Firefox and Safari..
