Blur/Ring issue - 10.14.5 - Kabylake-R - Tried ig-platform-id

Hi,

I have a new laptop that I was able to install Mojave on.

However I quickly noticed some graphical issue where the blurs/gradients would appear in "patches" like a camouflage or something.

I tried both solutions EDID/ig-platform-id and none worked. I discovered at a later stage why EDID did not work, however I can not figure out why the platform id is not working.

I also tried High Sierra, and the issue is NOT present in High Sierra. But going back to Mojave the issue is indeed present.
