Hi,

I have the same issue. I installed 10.7.3 together with the NotebookInstaller.
I had to remove the Realtek wifi card and replaced it with the HP Atheros wifi/BT combo card (melbec).
At system boot indeed the BT assistant pops up. In "About this Mac", there is no information in the BT tab.

In System Preferences however, there is no BT !!!???? So is there a kext or something that is to be updated?
