Bluetooth Problems

I upgraded the main system is my profile: GA-Z77X-UD5H i7

USB is working both 2.0 and 3.0.
Bluetooth USB dongle is seen as connected on USB but no Bluetooth device is visible.
From USB configuration (sorry, my system is in French)
Bluetooth V2.0 Dongle :

If you want to troubleshoot, Google for 0a12:001 hackintosh. You get, for instance: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/63758-ebay-usb-bluetooth-adapter-csr-not-working-help.html

Seems like mixed results.

Maybe ask in the Network forum if you want recommendations on a better dongle.

Solution might be a fix or change the device, but old information is useless.

In my case I found i had to move my receiver from the front panel USB2 port to the USB3. But I have not verified if it's because the USB2 ports stopped working.

Rolling back IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IOBluetoothHIDDriver.kext to 10.10.5 is working.
Need to disable SIP to do that:
CsrActiveConfig=0x3
BooterConfig= 0x28
in cloverconfig.
not elegant but working.

in cloverconfig.
not elegant but working.

Can you share that kext? I tried using vanila kext and it sorta worked, but not entirely

For install the kext try with "EasyKext Utility for Mac OSX El Capitan"

For disable the protection of "El Capitan"

1. Reboot your Mac into Recovery Mode by restarting your computer and holding down Command+R until the Apple logo appears on your screen.
2. Click Utilities > Terminal.
3. In the Terminal window, type in csrutil disable and press Enter.
4. Restart your Mac.

If you are using clover, you can download CloverConfigurateur
To disable protection in section Rt Variables put:
CsrActiveConfig=0x3
BooterConfig= 0x28
To go back to protection you remove.
