bluetooth on lion???

having trouble with bluetooth on lion 7.3,
the thing is there is no preferance pane for it at all and when i go to
bluetooth exchange it says no hardware found.
im using Asus p8p67 with built in bluetooth. and ive
tried a couple of 3rd party bluetooth devices
and nothing shows up... woul love to use my new apple keyboard!
Any ideas? thanks in advance jnr
