Bluetooth micro-adapter Rocketfish RF-MRBTAD

Hi, I have the exact same Bluetooth adapter as cliffom (Rocketfish RF-MRBTAD, same product and vendor IDs too) and also followed NotShy's guide, the option for Bluetooth wake appeared as expected and was already checked, but now when I put my computer to sleep it wakes straight back up instantly unless my Bluetooth peripheral, a Magic Mouse, is turned off. Which kinda makes it pointless.

Can anyone help? Any clue why this might be happening? I'm using a GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2 mobo with BIOS v.FF (optimized defaults loaded, only changes to get HPET 64-Bit and AHCI SATA mode -- even turned off my overclocking!)

Thanks!

Ok, I figured out where the product_id and vendor_id are found. They aren't listed under Bluetooth but are instead listed under the USB device tree:

After getting the correct id's from there and using NotShy's guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7940&p=52201, I was able to allow my Trackpad and Keyboard to wake my machine from sleep.

Cliffom, can you confirm that you can use Apple wireless keyboard in bios and chimera (or chameleon) to choose boot device?
Thanks

I can confirm that it does not work in the BIOS and Chimera.

Just installed A Rocketfish Bluetooth micro-adapter from eBay for 5 dlls. model RF-MRBTAD and it all works and syncs from cold boot.

It works OOB, syncs on power on, reboot, and sleep.

It works to go into Bios, or multiboot.

It is great....

a bit confused

Yup me to the rocketfish adapter working in bios with my wireless rocketfish keyboard.

With this adapter, neither my logitech or apple wireless keyboard can access the bios or boot options at boot loader. :banghead:

I just bought this same adapter and I can't get into BIOS or the Chimera Boot loader screen; what type of keyboard are you using? I am using the Apple Wireless Keyboard. Has anyone had success entering BIOS or the Chimera boot screen using this adaptor and the Apple wireless keyboard?

Thanks,

Bruno
