Ok, so this is confusing. Recently, I built a Hackintosh that is currently running MacOS Mojave. It had no bluetooth out of the box, and I bought the iogear dongle recommended in the buyers guide. I was under the impression that it was plug and play but turns out it was not. In System Information/Extensions it shows IOBluetoothFamily as there, and I am not clear on why it does not work. In system preferences, it recognizes bluetooth as on, but whenever I try to connect something, it does not show up. The motherboard has wifi and bluetooth functionality built in so I was wondering if that may be interfering with it at all. Let it be known that I am a relative newbie at Hackintoshes and help would be appreciated. The specs are as follows,
i7-8700k
Gigabyte Z370N Wifi Mini ITX
Samsung 860 EVO
Sapphire Radeon RX 570 Pulse 8gb
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16gb

Try to disable onboard wifi and bluetooth

Any clues as to what the command is in the BIOS for onboard wifi and/or bluetooth? Nothing obvious yet
