Bluetooth Dongle For European users with wake.

I just got the dongle (thinking it was the F8T016, stupid me). Is there a way of making it work on 10.7.5? I tried the kext with the correct product&vendor ids but it's not working :/ .
 
Does someone have a solution for Mavericks with this Bluetooth Dongle.
Tried everything i found in the Forum but nothing worked for me.

Interestingly enough this Belkin mini Bluetooth v4.0 works OOB for me. 10.9.1 and H77 motherboard.

Thanks for sharing this. Belkin sells this world wide so it is available in North America as well
and can work for Macs and CustoMacs. On their site Belkin lists this as compatible
with MacBooks and IOS so it looks like it should be fully compatible with Mavericks & 10.8.5
If it doesn't work for anyone here is a way to get your system to recognize it by editing
the Broadcom kext's info.plist.

Can someone confirm if this will work on Yosemite 10.10.5?

Also can someone also confirm whether it will work on the bootloader screen?
 
Does this still work for El Capitan?
 
Hello,

For dutch user I have found a Bluetooth usb what worked right away. It's based on the 20702A3 chip of Broadcom
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext installed via kextbeast in advance.
It is the startech.com part #USBBT2EDR4 about €20,-

Didn't test wake because HD530 still doesn't work in wake.

Needed to share for the European users.

Installed IOS 10.11.5 El Capitan paring with iPhone and apple magic mouse 2 work perfectly.

I can confirm that the Belkin bluetooth dongle is working under Mojave.
I just plugged this one in place of the old one.
My bluetooth audio interface was recognized out of the box and, after replacing the battery of my apple wireless keyboard and deleting the old bluetooth setup for this keyboard (inside preference-bluetooth), I could paired it.
