Bluetooth 4.0 - Extended Long Range Edition?

Hi All,

I know the GYMLE 4.0 Bluetooth adapter works OOB, however, does anyone have any experience with the "Long range" edition? This would be helpful for the future hand-off feature coming in Yosimite, as it uses Bluetooth 4.0 to work.

Bump.

It also came out this week that Bluetooth will ONLY be used for continuity of what you are actually working on (like email/notes/reminders), whereas the rest will use wifi to sync. Calling and SMS (which my main concern was about) will be via wifi.

I asked around the mod world and no one knows. Hopefully, you can get an answer on the net because I'm not seeing anybody here step up with an answer.
