from my understanding on these new 9 series board you have to disable the integrated graphics via the bios or remove the intel graphics kext to avoid this and spend up boot time other than thAt did you get it installed and make it to the desktop

Lso why would you use NullCPUPowermanagement do you not want power management and I'm not sure but I don't think the atheros kext in multibeast are working right now for these 9 series boards if it didn't work for you use the kext I uploaded in post 17 of this thread http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...te-z97x-gaming-7-g1-i7-4470k-gtx-760-a-4.html

Booting with no flags, no sound, ethernet works, disabled intel processor graphics, deleted nullcpupowermanagement, deleted appleHDA.

Can anyone get the on-board wifi to work. JuanLobo posted on 5/1/14 under "Gigabyte Z97 and H97 Motherboards Gallery and Info" that the sound might be ALC892 like its predecessor. I can't sign into imessage.

Hey, have you installed everything without problem? I was going to buy a new Z87N-WIFI to replace my old Z87X-OC to make my PC smaller. I still don't know if hackintosh works on this mITX Z97 board using the integrated 4770k GPU
I don't own any gigabyte boards just Asus but i have helped a lot of people already get there z97 gigabyte boards up and running without any problems they are a bit more trick since intel has change some device ids on these new chipsets but they can be done

Are you going to buy the 87N or the 97N? I have had success with my 97N-WIFI. I got the audio to work on Monday. It is booting fine with no flags. I fixed the itunes issue that many of these boards are having with Chameleon and EFI Studio. I fixed the bluetooth issue with the help of Carp, simply needed to disable the integrated graphics in BIOS. My system froze yesterday and I lost sound. Able to reinstall ALC892, delete the old AppleHDA and reinstall an updated version that i downloaded from a link in this thread.

Still haven't been able to get the wifi to work on this board. Able to access the internet via hard wire. Able to log into the app store and updates safari, itunes, ect. Still can't log into iMessage.

For the iMessages check out jaymonkey's guide iMessage fix
basicAlly you need to install fileNvram module from chameleon wizard and generate a unigue serial number with chameleon wizard to get it working

Hi BPage, I bough a brand new Z97N-WiFi, but as suspected, I'm getting a lot of problems..

this is my thread http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...ricks-no-v-x-params-z97n-wifi.html#post830003

I don't have a dedicated graphic card, so I need to use the 4770k's HD4600, but I can't boot correctly without using -v -x params.

I can do a clear setup, but I can't use it normally if I don't launch Mavericks using these params.. Kexts doesn't work, ACPI doesn't seem to respond. Guess that Z87X-OC was better than this situation :banghead:

Hey, I think the WiFi-Chip on the mPCIe Card on your Mainboard is not supported, but the Bluetooth-Chip is.

I wanted WiFi to work without an ugly USB-Adapter, so i ordered an other mPCIe Card. It works well for me. But i need a USB-Bluetooth Adapter... Couldn't find a Card with both Chips supported.
