Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

I have very same problem with my computer. Every time it boots, after apple loading logo there is black screen. I need to unplug and plug it back for it to work. I am using AMD OEM RX 580 card. Any suggestion how to fix the issue in my case?

Nope. Still only have the one monitor working. Haven't had much time to mess around with it. As far as the version, are you referring to OSX? If so then I'm running 10.14.2.

I also face the same issue. I cannot boot with 2 monitors connected with HDMI & DVI. I spent a couple of hours last night trying to resolve this to no avail.

I would love to know how to fix this

I patched with the AGDPfix.app but I still have the black screen at apple logo loading. I am on Sierra 10.12.6 and I try to boot with a Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition. If anyone can help me I would be really grateful

Maybe you should try update to Mojave (if is possible), and try use beta macOS 10.14.5.
One think that help me sometimes, im turn it off everything from energy maybe help...

I'm using Lilu and WhatEverGreen, haven't used AGDPfix.app since this time I started to use them.

Just upgraded to 10.14.5 and I'm still unable to use my second display. Lilu is the latest, WEG is the latest. AGDPfix.app still not doing its thing
