Hey Hackintoshers,

I bought a new AMD Saphire Nitro+ RX 590 to finally switch from my Gaming-Hackintosh High Sierra Gigabyte Geforce GTX1050 Ti setup to Mojave. When i insert the card & select "inject ATI" at clover it will boot in MacOs and shows the card as: "AMD Radeon RX 580 5 MB" and only low resolutions are possible.

I tried Whatevergreen.kext, loading the vBios and the "RadiondeInit" Option but the result is that i have a black screen when i enter MacOs. What did i forgot? How can i get the card to work?

If you use WhateverGreen.kext then you should also install Lilu.kext, which you haven't mentioned.

I updated to Mojave and of corse i used lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext to test this.

also inject ATI and radeondeInit may do the trick

AMD Radeon RX580 like AMD Radeon RX 560 I use doesn't require any config.plist editing to get full QE/CI.

Thanks for your help but i still have no luck solving the problem.
When i use InjectATI and RadeondeInit i get a PinkScreen (same as Blackscreen, system is running but does not give a picture... see IMG_0137.jpeg & IMG_0136.jpg)

The only way i can get a picture is set InjectATI and set FakeID=100267df but then i'm stuck to lowres...

Why say's clover i have a RX 480? With InjectATI and FakeID set it says RX 580 but it's still a RX 590

• I am also confused by that. To settle the issue, first try to run DPCI Manager [See attached]
• Check the Status and PCI List tabs of the opened window of DPCI Manager as shown in the uploaded screen captures
• If still a problem then you can check it with LiveLinux CD (Puppy Xenial ) ->#8

I returned the RX 590 and ordered a RX 580 (Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB from the Buyers Guide).
I still get a Pink / Black screen. Tomorrow i will try to use the displayport's, currently i use the two HDMI and the DVI ports. Adapter is comming soon...

I got the solution!

You MUST use the Displayport to get it work. Even when you use the two Displayports and plug the HDMI in the system will freeze.

Is there a way to disable the HDMI ports? I use this for a monitor under windows and i don't want to plug the HDMI plug in and out every time i start windows to use it (or macos to prevent freezing)
