Bitfenix has added another small form factor case to its growing arsenal. The Bitfenix Phenom and Phenom M. I must say that these cases look great and are a sorely needed thing if you are cramped on space. If they are anything like the Prodigy they are very easy to set up and look great on any desktop. I for one am looking forward for the mATX case giving you that option for a sweet gaming LAN case with the ability to use dual GPUs.

The cases listed on Newegg price wise are:
  • Mini-iTX $79.99
  • MicroATX $99.99

Release Date 10/15/2013

I want! I want! I want!

It looks like it has room/rack for an optical disc drive if only using one graphics card, but nothing is mentioned. Is that just an HDD drive space?

I've been following this for a while and will order a white one as soon as they become available on Newegg. It will be my new mITX hackintosh build.

There is no space for an optical drive. The front of the case does not accept one. There is an included adapter for a 3.5 and 2.5 drive that will fit in the optical bay.

It's also a viable case for a home or small business file server, though I prefer the Lian Li PC-Q25B for that purpose.

This thing is SO much less ugly than the Prodigy. I would actually consider owning one.

I want to like this case.
It has excellent fit and finish.
The placement of hd and PSU perfect.
The motherboard should be horizontal.
Case is way too tall.
Some of the selection for mini itx in TonyMac's builds are preferable.

Silverstone has some nice ones . ( SG06 )

Listen, the issues mostly are space with this case.

If you plan ahead when getting this case and aren't going crazy with HDDs or SSDs and use a nice modular PSU you really shouldn't have any issues.

If your buying it to pack it full of items and you use a regular PSU then your going to run into space issues and wire management issues.

All in all without getting crazy this is a great little case option IMO.
