Bios f.28

Guys, there's a new BIOS version on the HP's support site. Anyone has tried it yet?

Can`t find any F.28. Do you mean F.27 (23 May 2012)?

Anyways, I`ve upgraded with F.27, and my 4530s works great. No problems!

I´m running 10.8 with tegezee`s HP Probook Installer b8. Choose F.20 during installation, and you are good to go.

if you don't need it don't upgrade, here what they fixed

- Fixes an issue where the automatic DriveLock password is not accepted after the system is restarted.

Hello,

I´ve bought new HP Probook 4330s, but I have problem with USB port - one of them don´t work (Tried in Windows and Linux, don´t have Mac installed yet).
So I´m going to try update BIOS (currently have F.0A), before I send it back to shop.

Is F.28 good for OS X and Probook Installer? Can I downgrade BIOS later?

No, I don't mean F.27, I mean this.

Just upgraded to f.28, followed your link. Works with Probook installer b8.

It should be possible, I've downgraded mine from F.25 to F.20 few months ago.

philip_petev: OK, thanks. I´ve updated it to F.28, but my USB port still doesn´t working. Looks like hardware issues. I´m taking my laptop back to shop tomorrow .

You can not downgrade bios below F.20.
