Has it happened to someone else that they try to open a "x" program and get this warning? Any way to solve it?

This is happening to me constantly, and it doesn't seem to make any difference whether the application is from a identified developer or not. For example, it happens with Microsoft Word. Also with Brave Browser.

Probably a network issue. Apps constantly check or report back. Especially with Big Sur. If there's a glitch somewhere in the system this can fail.

Happened to me and I was pulling hair out until I reset my network router and wifi adapter. Once rebooted all was good again - even though I had all along been able to browse the Internet as usual.

Hope it's that simple for you .
