What are the "occasional wake from sleep issues" that you are experiencing… If you post your sanitized EFI, we can take a look.
My first try with this machine was also my first time working with OC and IntelWifi so hard to know if it was my newbie-ness or the machine; more than anything I found that I couldn't get it to wake up reliably from a long (6+ hour… "deep"?) sleep. Since my latest update to OC 0.7.0, I think I saw that happen once(?) but not sure… if work calms down, I may experiment with deep sleep again (currently have "prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off" unchecked).

I only tested the Intel card in my HP Envy Laptop. With the Intel card, I experienced sleep/wake problems. I haven't had any problems since switching to Brcm card.

I'm not planning to create a Monterey thread for our HackMinis. It's been a fun ride! Welcoming someone else's initiative to create a Monterey thread for this awesome little platform (when Monterey is publicly available). Thank you everyone for contributing to the Catalina and Big Sur Threads and for helping to make this the perfect HackMini8,1.

Oh man, very sad news. Thanks for all the effort. May we ask what your next big thing will be? Are you getting a Mac mini or something like that?

@liriolebron I'll continue to maintain this hackmini and my hackbookpro14,1. Both should be supported for a few years. After that, I'll explore Apple's offerings. I'm not abandoning my hacks - it's just time to turn the reins over to someone else.

On a separate note - I was looking at the specs for our HP EliteDesk 800 G4/G5 Minis. The specs indicate TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 (Infineon SLB9670)) so I think our rigs should be compatible with Windows 11.

I've been looking for a laptop that plays well with MacOS, what model is that hackbookpro14,1 of yours?

Hackintoshers, quick question.

Does any of you are using more than 1 monitor with a resolution higher than 1080p? How much can the HD 630 support in terms of resolution?

Can I use 2 or 3 1440p monitors? Is it possible?

It's an HP Envy. Not sure of the exact model. I wouldn't have purchased it just to hack it. I only hacked it because I already had it.

Let us know what you find after doing some research. There are others in this thread and the Catalina thread who have posted their findings and you should be able to find other UHD 630 results in other tonymacx86 threads.

With the Intel card, I experienced sleep/wake problems. I haven't had any problems since switching to Brcm card.
Question: does wake/sleep happen quickly for you on Brcm? OEM Intel wifi/bluetooth is working reasonably well for me but waking from sleep is not quick (7-10 seconds before it's ready to go, considerably slower than my macbook pro), so wondering if things got better for you when abandoned the Intel card?

@andjules Wake takes 2-3 seconds with Brcm card (on my HackBookPro14,1). I'm no longer testing Wi-Fi in the HackMini8,1. If the only problem you have with the Intel card is slow wake, you did better than I did. For me, the Intel card caused sleep/wake issues, shutdown issues and network speed was poor. No issues with the brcm card. However, I'm sure that the Intel kexts have improved since I tested.
