You're not running with the EFIs recommended in this thread. Have you tried to use the EFIs recommended here? Thanks for all the hard work on this...i have the g4 version...everything works great!....only problem i have is the RTC error on every cold boot. Any good work arounds for it yet? I am using OC 6.5
Agree with @rafale77 - by using OC 0.6.5 and Acidanthera kexts that haven't even been released yet, you're turning this into an Acidanthera debugging thread. Let's stick with what's released - you'll find that it's hard enough as it is.
everything works great..video...wireless/bluetooth...etc....only problem having is the rtc error on cold boot....am using the suggested fixes...RTCMemoryFixup.kext and Nvram boot args rtcfx_exclude=B0-B4
and have cleared the NVRAM...
I tried your efi....removed the bcm files...used the intel wireless and bluetooth and works great...thanks for all the help here...i am using 6.5 on my amd computer and dell 3670 and both work great...always foward..lol....thanks again for all who helped...sometimes we move to fast...lol@turk101
For one, I am not using OC 0.6.5. It's not released for a reason... it's not fully tested and ready.
I have never seen, not even once, this RTC problem from neither of my 600G4 or 800G5 on Catalina or Big Sur... and I mean never.
I am not sure what is different between our installations. I am not using any of the boot args or the kexts either.
There is an RTC issue with 800 G4 Mini. It is very rare. I never observe it during "normal" option and have only seen it during macOS installs and sometimes when running OpenCore tools. Since I never see it during normal operation (shutdown, restart, sleep...) it remains a low priority for me. I am currently running with RtcMemoryFixup.kext and rtcfx_exclude=B0-B4 and am waiting to see if that resolves the rare RTC issues. It seems to me that, whatever the RTC issue on the 800 G4 Mini, it's been resolved with the 800 G5 Mini. I've never tested a 600 G4.
