**SOLVED***
1. i took forever to learn opencore
2. after i figured it out, my UEFI wasn't in a good mood so it took me a while to understand... (MSI mobos i found out don't have the critical bcfg command in the UEFI shell)
3. basically if you can make it to the UEFI shell type "bcfg boot dump" and it will show you what the UEFI 'boot order' is...
4. then i deleted all of them with the command "bcfg boot rm XX" - the XX is the number you see when you type the bcfg boot dump... its 01 - 04 usually... i deleted them all
5. then magically it worked...
6. BUT I COULDN'T INSTALL APPS YET
7. so I gave up and reinstalled from the OC boot menu to the restore partition
HOPE THIS HELPS.... BASICALLY YOU HAVE TO SWITCH TO OC and REINSTALL Big Sur..... I couldn't get it to work otherwise...
BUT my geekbench SIGNIFICANTLY improved....

is everyone able to install apps after installing big sur?
- i was on catalina - updated clover and then upgraded to big sur
- i logged out and back in from apple ID, app store...
- noticed that my "LINE" texting app needed an update, but it didn't work
- deleted that app and tried to install, now it won't install... gets stuck on the install wheel in the app store
