Beware of defective BCM* wifi/bt "Apple" cards

I don't care where a card comes from. It can be a knockoff or OEM non-apple card. It just has to work. Neither of the last 2 worked. One was a BCM94360CS2 and one was a BCM943224PCIEBT2. The BCM94360CS2 had a physically broken connector. Used Mint Linux to verify if they work just to get it outside the realm of Clover/Hackintosh software. one didn't work at all, the other one only had BT. We may be scraping the bottom of the barrel on these cards.
