Best Single Slot Low Profile GPU for a Kaby Lake Sierra build?

Hey Tycoonbob,

Still contemplating a build using one of the F7C cases. Do you know if I would be able to use one of these with the Quadro P1000:

I'm trying to avoid having to drill out the power connector hole on the rear of the case like you did.

I'd highly recommend reading through this full thread. If you did, you would see that I am using that same PicoPSU and I did run into a problem with my p1000 on that PSU because I was using the 120W power adapter. The solution was to go with the 192W power adapter, and drill out my case for the 4 pin adapter.
 
I just saw an, used, ASL 1050ti "Battleflag" - Single slot, half height - on fle@b@y for AUD $327, before shipping.

Mine was $220 - NEW - with shipping! Yikes.

Conclusion: for maximum performance, get the P1000 or WX4100 (WX4100 needs 10.13x)

p.s, If you're on High Sierra, don't forget the nVidia "downgrade" script - as of 13th March, 2018 - to restore nVidia performance:

Are you seeing any glitches, artifacting, issues with the P1000?
Assuming it's the PNY model you have? How is the fan noise?
 
If anyone wants to avoid Nvidia cards, AMD FirePro W4100, W4300, and WX 4100 are all single slot, low profile.

Hi, I have some problems to run Quadro p1000 in my hackintosh, can you explain or send how configure clover? Please
 
My hardware:
Fujitsu Celsius J550
CPU I7 7700
GPU Quadro P1000

Software. Mac Os High Sierra 10.13
