Best OSX / Logic Version for MPC 2000 XL?

I have an MPC 2000 XL that I'm hoping to link to Logic.

Before I install a new OS on my hackintosh (my old SSD with Mountain Lion died) I just wanted to ask what the best setup would be for getting the MPC 2000 XL to link up (OS X + Logic Version).

Hi Eryksd,

The thing you should ask yourself is what OSX works best with the Logic version you are running?

You can leave the MPC out of the equation, since it will connect through midi. This will work on any OSX and any version of Logic as long as you have midi in and out ports on your computer.

The preffered OSX for your version of Logic, you can find online I'm sure.

I'm personally still running on OSX 10.9.5!
