belkin wireless USB problem

I didn't want to have to ask but after hours of searching, kext modifying and driver installs i haven't gotten anywhere. I have installed snow leopard 10.6.8 everything is working fine except the wifi dongle. Its a belkin F6D 4050 v1 using the RT3070 chipset.
I have tested all the drivers from this site

the ralink wireless utility is there after I install, but it wont open i click and nothing happens :x
Any help will be great!

My specs are:
Intel core i3 550 3.2GHz
4gb DDR3 Ram
Nvidia GT430 1gb PCI-E

I would love to find the answer to that question... I have been looking for a driver for a really long time.. Im on the hunt for it I tried the ralink support web page no luck the same thing happened to me.. The RT3070L chip is not listed on the Ralink mac osx support let me know what you come up with and Ill do the same..

RT3X7X is supported according to them, but it's possible that it's only a 32-bit driver, as that was the issue with their PCI Express cards.

hey i have the same USB dongle the belkin F6D4050v1

i have managed to get it half working. the usb dongle refuses to work when its plugged in during boot, but if you remove it, boot your computer and then plug it in. The computer should reconise it.
