Hi all,
I updated to 10.8.5 from 10.8.4 and found my Belkin F8T001 Bluetooth USB adapter no longer works. At first, the bluetooth icon in the status bar advised that bluetooth was not available. After following the suggestions in several threads, I edited the CSRUSBBluetoothHCIController.kext with the Product and Vendor IDs in decimal format for my adapter.
Bluetooth is now available, though nothing can be paired and connecting to my previously paired trackpad times out after allegedly attaining a connection. Does anyone have an insight?
I also have an eBay Chinese CSR adapter, which does the same things as the Belkin after editing the kext.
Thanks in advance.
