Hi all!
Glad that this community is still going strong. I dabbled with Hackintosh's back in the Snow Leopard era but not done much since. However, I am now looking to install OSX a second hard drive in my system, largely so I can use Logic Pro X.
My hardware is:
* Asus Sabertooth X79
* Intel Core i7 4960X Extreme Edition
* 64GB DDR3 RAM
* Gigabyte GTX 970 Ti G1 Gaming Edition GPU
* 240GB SanDisk SSD for Windows 10 Pro OS
* 240GB SanDisk SSDfor OSX
From this, should I be ok to be running latest OSX? And am I likely to encounter any major issues?
My Windows 10 system is running smooth, and has been for several years now, so I don;t really want to be jeopardising that, hence installing OSX on a separate second SSD instead of a second partition. I also have things like sample libraries that I intend to use on both the Windows and OSX environments. They are on NTFS drives created via Windows. Is that likely to be an issue?
Cheers all for any preliminary advice!
