As the title says I recently purchased a BCM94360CS2 with adapter to replace the wifi card on my Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX to finally get the WiFi working out of the box. Even though everyone was boasting about these native Apple cards to just work, mine doesn't. WiFi however is working as intended and no issues there.

But since I'm getting an Apple Watch delivered soon I would really love to get everything working on my hackintosh to make full use of the Apple eco system. I have no special kexts installed to get bluetooth or wifi working since everyone says these native cards don't need any (I even tried them, without success). The hackintosh does recognise the Broadcom chip, so I don't really understand why it shouldn't work. The system report even says Airdrop is supported.

My hackintosh specs:
- i9-9900k
- Asrock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX
- Radeon RX 5700XT
- BCM94360CS2 + m.2 adapter
- Catalina 10.15.4

I'm currently running the following kexts:
- ACPISensors
- AppleALC
- CPUSensors
- FakeSMC
- GPUSensors
- IntelMausi
- IntelMausiEthernet
- Lilu
- LPCSensors
- SMMSensors
- USBInjectAll
- WhateverGreen
- XHCI-unsupported

I don't think any of these should interfere with the card that would prevent the bluetooth and airdrop from working? I have a bunch of patches active, would any of these be causing issues? If I remember correctly these were necessary for Z390 motherboards to work.

- Z390/Z370 II BIOS RTC Patch | A00A9353 54415301 | A00A910A FF0BFFFF
- change XHCI to XHC | 58484349 | 5848435F
- change XHC1 to XHC | 58484331 | 5848435F
- change SAT0 to SATA | 53415430 | 53415441
- change HECI to IMEI | 48454349 | 494D4549
- change GFX0 to IGPU | 47465830 | 49475055
- change PEGP to GFX0 | 50454750 | 47465830
- Rename HDAS to HDEF | 48444153 | 48444546

I am still quite new to the entire hackintosh scene and don't understand what I'm doing half the time so would love some help! Thanks in advance!

You’ll likely need bcrm patch ram and perhaps airport bcrm fixup kexts. Both can be found under the acidanthera repo: https://github.com/acidanthera

read their respective guidelines on how to properly apply them. They both need some level of configuratio. YMMV.

with that said, no card, not even one ripped from a real Mac works without added kexts, not even ones listed as OOB. Not even the Fenvi T919 any longer (not since 10.15.3+).

I now installed BrcmPatchRAM3, BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext, AirportBrcmFixup.kext and BrcmFirmwareData.kext but it still doesn't seem to work. I just placed them in my EFI/CLOVER/kexts directory with the other ones.

Is there additional configuration required?

For the Bluetooth to work you need to have the PCIe card connected to one of the motherboards internal USB header ports, with a USB cable that normally comes with the PCIe adapter card.

You have done this, Yes?

Have you configured the USB header port that you connected to the PCIe card to work in macOS?

Thanks everyone for the tips but the BCM94360CS2 was working after all. Turns out that if I didn't attach the included motherboard antenna the card's bluetooth just straight up didn't work. After attaching the included antenna it all started working without issues.

Should have tried that sooner... Didn't think about it because bluetooth used to work out of the box with the old wifi card that came with my motherboard without the antenna attached.
