I might do that in the future as a little project.

But to be honest, I never really use any USB ports unless it’s for a USB drive.

Ah, but you remember that internal header that you connect your wireless/BT card to? It's not just for power. It's a USB port. To get your Bluetooth working properly you should actively define the port being used. If you don't then it will probably work - if it's not been deactivated - but might affect the PC's ability to stay asleep when you put it there.
