Hi guys,

Can you help me out?
Today, I finally obtained a BCM94352Z WiFi card (it's an Anatel). I have installed it in my HP ZBook G2, but now only Bluetooth is detected (in OSX ánd in Windows).

Any ideas?

Note: Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

Did you enable it in BIOS?

Show output of 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal.

I have looked through all the settings, but none pointed in the direction of dis/en-abling it...

I don't have a linux live usb lying around, will make one

Look for options regarding enabling/disabling WLAN.

Well, there's no setting for that...

Post 'lspci -nn' output from Linux Terminal.

Also, post photos of all BIOS screens.

If there is no option for enabling the card, and it does not show in 'lspci' output, then it is likely you have defective hardware.

There is no PCIe WiFi device present. It is either disabled in BIOS, defective, or not installed correctly.

Check that the device is fully seated in its slot.

I know - It is seated correctly etc: the bluetooth part of this chip works, just not the wifi part. People have suggested I tape off certain pins, which I have done, but to no avail.

Would there be any chance that although this PC doesn't seem to be whitelisted, it does reject the device (only the wifi part)?

Bluetooth uses different pins. Bluetooth working is not proof the card was installed correctly.

More likely the card is defective.

Try disabling "LAN/WLAN Switching".
Disable "fast boot".
